Your BodySnap timeline stays on your iPhone. BodySnap does not sync or transfer it to another phone; moving to a new iPhone? A full-size copy also goes to your camera roll by default; in Settings you can switch that to a hidden album or no copy. Usage events, keyed by a random install ID, go to bodysnap.app, without photos, names or email addresses.
Yes, by default: each photo gets a full-size copy there. In Settings, under Save a copy to, choose a hidden album or no copy instead. The BodySnap timeline keeps photos even if you choose no camera-roll copy.
No. An account is optional and does not back up or transfer your photos. It holds sign-in details only, never photos. You can create or delete it in Settings.
Yes. Bring in photos you already have. BodySnap keeps the original date when available.
No. The timeline shows the gap and moves on. Take the next photo whenever you like; on-screen prompts help guide you toward your starting position.
A tripod keeps the camera still. BodySnap lines up your photos even if you shift: the overlay shows an earlier photo to match, and Compare lines the pair up when it's close enough.
Any change you want to see over time. Choose a preset — Body, Face, Hair, Pregnancy, Skin, Glutes, Belly, Arms, Legs or After baby — or pick Something else and name your own. Each journey keeps its own timeline and starting photo, and you can switch between journeys.
When BodySnap finds a clear match, Compare lines up the pair. Otherwise it shows them as taken. Tap As shot any time to see the originals.
Yes. Create a separate journey for each thing you track. Each has its own timeline and starting photo.
Yes. The first photo in a journey is its starting photo. Long-press any photo and choose Use as starting photo to line up against that one instead.
Not yet. BodySnap is iPhone only today. BodySnap has no built-in timeline sync or transfer. Camera-roll copies may move with your photo library; restoring an iPhone backup may also bring the BodySnap timeline. See the Support answer.
